I met Tera for the first time today! My only regret is that I didn't know about her sooner! She made me feel welcome immediately and my entire experience was epic! She is knowledgeable, kind and SO talented! I have thin, fine blonde hair and I cannot believe the magic she worked. Pampered perfection. I seriously can't wait to go back.

Tera did absolute magic with my hair! I went in for a partial highlight, and Tera was careful to listen to my requests and follow my “inspo” pics. My hair turned out EXACTLY the way I wanted! Not only that, but she is the absolute QUEEN of blowouts! I walked out feeling beyond confident and loving my hair! I would highly recommended Tera at Absolute Salon to anyone who wants to feel incredible about their hair and themselves. Now I can go back to college feeling exactly that way! Tera is a lifesaver and color genius. New to the area and was referred to a different hair salon a week prior where they totally messed my hair up. I was nervous that going to have it colored again and try to correct the issue would fry my hair. She worked her magic and my hair is EXACTLY how I wanted it which was gray blended platinum highlights with dark lowlight. I am so happy to have found my new lifelong stylist who actually listens and gives it to you straight rather than promising something and not delivering. She is also very reasonably priced!

Tera completely exceeded my expectations. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, explained her approach and absolutely nailed my highlights! The color is beautiful, bright, and blended so naturally that I didn’t even need any toning! She truly understands blondes and knows how to create gorgeous, dimensional color while keeping my hair healthy!

I had such a great experience at the salon. Tera was able to fix my hair from a previous botched job, and gave me the exact results I was looking for. My hair is lighter, and brighter. The balayage blends so well, and my hair is even healthy after the process. Tera knew what she was doing and I think she did a fantastic job. I’d definitely recommend going to her for any hair style or needs!

Tera gave me THE BEST hair cut/style I have had in decades, no, the best hair cut/style I have ever had.

I was wondering why hair stylists seemed to refuse to cut my hair the way I requested. I didn't think I was asking for anything unusual or difficult.
I always show pictures, we talk, and yet, I walk out without anything close to what I asked for.
I kept thinking, maybe I wasn't clear, maybe my hair can't be cut that way, but I eventually settled on, they just don't listen. They seem to just want to give you whatever style is easy for them or "in style," instead of what you want.
Well, today was very different, actually when I called to schedule, I knew it would be different.
1. Tera loves what she does!
That's the first reason to see her.
2. She looked at the pictures, we talked about tweaks, then she went to work.
No confusion, she knew exactly what she was doing to give me the cut (and easy for me to style...VERY important, as I am very hair styling challenged😄) I asked for.
It wasn't hard, and the result was waaay better than I was hoping for!
So, if you want a hair stylist who will listen, and then give you the cut you are asking for, only better, don't wait, go see Tera NOW!
Tera is masterful at her craft!
Do not waste any more time with stylists who refuse to listen or simply don't have the skill set to create a cut that works with your hair and matches your request.

I had an amazing experience with Tera at Absolute Salon and Day Spa in Shelby Township! She completely understood what I wanted and did an incredible job taking my hair back to blonde with beautifully blended highlights and the perfect tone. I went in for a haircut, color, and highlights, and as always, she isn’t afraid to tell you what color and cut will work best for your face and coloring. I am absolutely thrilled that I found Tera at Absolute Salon and Day Spa in Shelby Township! I have very fine, thin hair, and for the longest time it just sat there in a flat, boring bob that did nothing for me. Tera completely transformed it into a modern short style that looks fuller, fresher, and incredibly flattering.
I honestly don’t know how she did it, but my hair looks three times thicker — something I didn’t think was possible with my hair type. She truly understands fine hair and knows how to cut it in a way that creates volume without sacrificing style.

Tera is awesome. Don’t hesitate to trust her with your hair. Today she transformed a bad short haircut into exactly what I had hoped for. She’s warm and welcoming, patient and extremely good at her craft. Tera cuts your hair to work with your natural growth patterns- and I have it all- cowlicks, waves, straight spots…but she made it work beautifully.
